Terms of Service
The binding terms for using SlideBase, its AI generation tools and social publishing features.
In plain words
- Your outputs are yours. You may use the slides, copy and images you generate for personal and commercial purposes.
- We provide the tool. SlideBase is a neutral software tool; you decide what to create, what to review and what to publish.
- Please don't: impersonate real people (famous or private), make deepfakes or clone a face or voice without consent, post fake endorsements, send spam, or create illegal content.
- You are responsible for what you publish on TikTok, Instagram or anywhere else, including your account and your content.
- We end abuse. We suspend or close accounts that seriously break these rules.
- You can cancel anytime, and we do not sell your data.
The articles below are the binding, detailed version of this summary; if they differ, the articles prevail.
Parties, Acceptance and Eligibility
In short: If you use the Service, you accept these terms.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the relationship between Mehmet Tuna Arıkaya (sole proprietor, Isparta, Turkey), operator of SlideBase at slidebase.net ("SlideBase", "we", "us"), and any individual or legal entity using the platform ("User", "you").
By creating an account, accessing the site or using the service in any way, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy, the Distance Sales Agreement and the Delivery & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you act on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
The Service and SlideBase's Role
In short: SlideBase is a tool; you are the director and publisher of your content.
SlideBase is a cloud software service that uses AI to turn an App Store / Google Play link and your brand information into social media slideshows (carousels), copy, images and captions, stores them in a library, and lets you publish or schedule them on TikTok or Instagram accounts you connect (the "Service").
SlideBase is solely a neutral software tool and infrastructure provider. The User alone determines the subject matter, inputs (prompts, links, images, notes and so on), generation settings, selection and editing of outputs, and whether, when and on which account anything is published. SlideBase is not the publisher, editor, sponsor or approver of any content, has no editorial control over it, and has no duty to monitor content in advance or on an ongoing basis. This does not limit our right to remove content and suspend accounts under these Terms.
The scope, features, credit amounts and limits of the Service may change over time. Features marked as beta or experimental may be changed or removed without further notice.
Accounts and Security
In short: Protect your account; activity on it is treated as yours.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete registration information and to keep it up to date. An account belongs to a single user or organization; you may not transfer, sell or share it with unauthorized persons.
You are responsible for the confidentiality and security of your login credentials and any API keys. All activity under your account is deemed to be yours unless you prove otherwise. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
Creating multiple accounts, or using fake emails or automated sign-ups, to abuse free trials or credits is prohibited.
Prohibited Use
In short: Nothing that deceives, harms others or is illegal. The most important rule: do not impersonate real people.
You may use the Service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. It is prohibited to submit as input, generate, store or publish any of the following:
Real persons and likeness
- content (images, audio, text or characters) that imitates, depicts or is likely to be confused with a real person, whether a celebrity, public figure or private individual;
- deepfakes, and any cloning, alteration or recreation of a person's face, voice or likeness without documented, express consent;
- fake endorsements, testimonials, reviews, recommendations or customer stories attributed to real or fictional people; impersonation of brands or organizations, or falsely implying an affiliation with them.
Infringement and unlawful content
- content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, personality, privacy or other third-party rights, or use of apps, brands or materials you do not own or are not authorized to promote;
- defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent or discriminatory content, and sexual or obscene material;
- any content that depicts, targets or exploits minors;
- misinformation, misleading health or financial claims, fraud, scams and forgery; promotion of illegal or prohibited products and services.
Platform and system abuse
- spam, bulk unsolicited posts, fake engagement or manipulative behavior; violating the terms, community guidelines or developer policies of TikTok, Instagram/Meta, the Apple App Store, Google Play or any other relevant platform;
- reverse-engineering the Service or its security measures, scraping it, overloading it with automated requests, gaining unauthorized access, or distributing malware;
- circumventing or abusing limits, credits, trials or payment systems, including multi-account trial abuse and bad-faith refund requests or chargebacks;
- reselling or sublicensing the Service or access to it without our written permission, or using it to build a competing AI model.
Checking that your inputs and publications comply with this article is the User's obligation. If we believe these rules are violated, we may remove content, block generation or publishing, freeze credits, and suspend or terminate accounts. This right does not oblige us to monitor or pre-screen content, and our not acting on a given item does not mean we approve it.
User Content, Licence and Responsibility
In short: Everything you provide is your responsibility; we use it only to run the Service.
You retain your rights in the app information, brand text, images, prompts, notes and other material you submit ("User Content"). You alone are responsible for its legality, accuracy and for not infringing third-party rights, and for having obtained all necessary permissions, licences and consents (including the consent of any person whose image or voice is used).
To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free, limited licence to host, process, reproduce, resize and transmit User Content to the AI providers and connected social platforms involved in your request. This licence is limited to providing, securing and improving the Service and ends when you delete your account (subject to legal retention duties).
If a third party or authority brings a claim against us arising from your User Content, the indemnification clause of these Terms applies.
AI-Generated Content
In short: AI can make mistakes; checking before you publish is your job.
Slides, copy and images are generated by third-party AI models, including those from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, kie.ai and fal.ai. To produce them, your input is sent to these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI output is generated probabilistically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, outdated or unsuitable for your purpose. It may resemble existing works, brands, persons or the outputs of other users. We make no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, originality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or eligibility for copyright or trademark protection.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and correcting generated content before publishing or using it, in particular for resemblance to real persons, brands or existing works, and for any claims it makes about your app, product or service and its compliance with advertising and consumer law, platform policies and, where required, commercial-content disclosures.
As between you and SlideBase, you may use the slides, copy and images you generate for personal and commercial purposes. We make no commitment regarding whether AI output is protectable under intellectual property law or regarding third-party rights in similar outputs.
Third-Party Services and Publishing
In short: You start every post; platform decisions are outside our control.
The Service integrates with third-party services such as AI providers, FastSpring, Firebase/Google, TikTok and Instagram (Meta). These are operated by independent companies, are governed by their own terms and policies, and are outside our control. SlideBase is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with TikTok or Meta.
When you connect a social account, you authorize SlideBase to upload and publish only the content you create and schedule, with the settings you choose, on that account. Publishing happens on your instruction; SlideBase acts as your technical conduit. You remain responsible for what is published and for complying with the platform's rules. You can disconnect at any time in SlideBase or in the platform's settings; we then stop posting and delete the stored access tokens.
Notice and Takedown
In short: If you think your rights are infringed, write to us and we will review it within a reasonable time.
Rights holders, individuals and authorities who believe content infringes copyright, trademark, personality rights or the law may notify us at smartify04@gmail.com. Please include your identity and contact details, a description of the right or issue, the location of the content (link or account), the reason you believe it infringes, and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to make it.
We review adequate notices within a reasonable time and may remove or restrict the content, inform the relevant User, and terminate accounts of repeat infringers. Knowingly submitting false or bad-faith notices may give rise to legal liability.
Cooperation with Authorities and Enforcement
In short: We act when the law requires; otherwise we do not share your data.
Where we have a legal obligation, a court or authority order, or a justified request from a rights holder, we may remove content, block access and, to the extent required by law, disclose account, record and content information to competent authorities or rights holders. Any such disclosure is made in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, and only as far as necessary.
In case of violations we may remove content, stop generation or publishing, freeze credits, and suspend or terminate your account immediately. Where termination is for cause, unused credits and fees are not refunded, subject to refund rights required by mandatory law.
Credits, Subscriptions, Trials and Auto-Renewal
In short: The trial is 3 days, you can cancel anytime, and renewal is automatic.
AI features run on credits. Credit amounts depend on your plan; unused monthly credits do not roll over unless the plan description says otherwise. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
All monthly plans (Starter, Pro and Ultra) start with a 3-day free trial that requires a payment card and is available once per user. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged; otherwise the paid subscription starts automatically.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. You can cancel through the FastSpring account portal or your account settings and keep access until the end of the paid period. Upgrades may be prorated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
Delivery, withdrawal and refund terms are set out in the Delivery & Refund Policy and the Distance Sales Agreement, which form part of these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights under the law that applies to you (including any statutory withdrawal right) cannot be limited by these Terms.
Fees, Taxes and Payment
In short: FastSpring takes the payment; prices are in USD.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller FastSpring.com. FastSpring is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment collection, invoicing, calculation and collection of taxes such as VAT, customer service inquiries and returns. Prices are in USD; applicable taxes may be added at checkout, and currency conversion or bank fees may be charged by your card issuer.
We may change prices, plans and credit amounts going forward; changes do not apply to you before your current billing period ends. We may restrict access or end a subscription if a payment fails.
SlideBase Intellectual Property
In short: The software and brand are ours; your outputs are yours.
The Service's software, source code, interface, templates, designs, brand, logo, domain name and documentation, and all related intellectual property rights, belong to SlideBase or its licensors. These Terms grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service; no other rights are transferred.
We may freely use suggestions and feedback you provide about the Service without compensation.
Suspension and Termination
In short: You can leave anytime; we may close accounts for serious violations.
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. An active subscription must be cancelled separately; deleting an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.
If you breach these Terms or the law, abuse payments, create a security risk, or if we receive a legal request or a complaint from a platform partner, we may temporarily or permanently restrict access, remove content or terminate your account immediately, in serious cases without prior notice. Where termination is for cause, unused credits and fees are not refunded, subject to any refund rights required by mandatory law.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law, continue to apply.
Disclaimer of Warranties
In short: We do our best, but cannot promise an uninterrupted service or any particular result.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we give no express or implied warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or always available; that no data will be lost; as to the accuracy, originality or fitness of generated content; as to the continued availability of third-party AI or social platform services; or that published content will achieve any result (views, followers, downloads, revenue, conversions or otherwise).
This section does not affect mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Limitation of Liability
In short: Our liability is capped at what you paid in the last 12 months.
To the extent permitted by law and subject to mandatory provisions, SlideBase, its operator, employees and partners are not liable for damages arising from the accuracy of AI output, its similarity to existing works or persons, decisions of platforms (restrictions, removals, lost reach), Service downtime or data loss, or for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue, followers, accounts, goodwill, opportunities or business, arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless
In short: If your content or breach leads to claims against us, you cover them.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SlideBase, its operator and partners from any third-party claim, suit, administrative fine, damages, platform sanction (account closure, content removal and similar), loss and cost, including reasonable attorneys' fees and legal expenses, arising from or related to your User Content, your inputs, content you generate and publish with the Service, your breach of these Terms, the law or third-party rights, your publications that violate platform rules, or unauthorized use or misuse of your account. This clause does not limit mandatory rights you hold as a consumer.
You will notify us promptly of any such claim and cooperate reasonably in the defence.
Force Majeure
In short: Events beyond our control can delay our obligations.
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, power, internet or data center outages, government action, cyberattacks, or the interruption or discontinuation of third-party cloud, AI, payment or social platform services.
Service Changes and Availability
In short: We may change the Service as it evolves, and we will try to be fair to paying users.
We may modify, limit, temporarily suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service for maintenance, security, legal or business reasons. If a paid feature is materially removed, we will offer a reasonable remedy for the unused part of the paid period, without prejudice to your statutory rights. We announce planned maintenance in advance where practicable.
Changes to These Terms
In short: We announce material changes before they apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are announced on the site or by email before they take effect, and the current version and its "last updated" date are shown on this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, you may close your account. Changes will not be applied retroactively to your detriment as a consumer.
Governing Law and Disputes
In short: Turkish law applies; your consumer rights stay fully protected.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. For users who are consumers, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence, including Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 where applicable, and your right to bring a claim before the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts competent under that law, remain unaffected and cannot be waived.
For users who are not consumers, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction.
General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect and the provision will be interpreted to the closest valid meaning.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Distance Sales Agreement and Delivery & Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and SlideBase on this subject and supersede earlier agreements.
No waiver; assignment. Failure to exercise a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of business or reorganization.
