TikTok slideshow scheduler
A TikTok slideshow scheduler that also writes the slideshow.
SlideBase generates a photo carousel from your app's store listing and publishes it to TikTok at the time you pick, every day, through the official API. Direct, or straight to your drafts inbox.

The short answer
Can you schedule TikTok slideshows?
Yes, but not where most people look. TikTok's own scheduler lives in TikTok Studio and is built around video uploads from the desktop. Photo posts, the format a slideshow or carousel actually is, can be published through TikTok's Content Posting API instead. That is how a TikTok slideshow scheduler like SlideBase works: you connect your account once, pick a time, and the slideshow is either published directly or sent to your TikTok drafts inbox at that time.
The question people type into Google is usually “can you schedule TikTok carousels”, and the honest answer in 2026 is that you need a third-party tool for it. The follow-up question matters more: what are you going to schedule? A scheduler is a queue. If the queue is empty, it does nothing. Most app developers who try posting slideshows do not fail at scheduling, they fail at producing six to eight new slides every day for three months.
SlideBase closes both gaps at once. It is a TikTok slideshow generator that reads your App Store or Google Play listing, writes the hook and the slide copy, lays out the photos, and then puts the result on a posting schedule you control. The post is made and the post is published. You review as much or as little as you want.
How it works
How scheduling works in SlideBase
- 1
Connect TikTok via OAuth
Authorise SlideBase from your own TikTok account through the official Content Posting API. No password, no browser extension, and you can revoke access from TikTok at any time.
- 2
Choose time and cadence
Pick a one-off date for a single post, or create an automation: your app, a style and palette, the language (English or Turkish), which weekdays, and either a time window or fixed posting times.
- 3
Review, or let it run
Draft mode sends each finished slideshow to your TikTok inbox for a final tap. Direct mode publishes at the scheduled time. Switch between the two whenever you like.
Under the hood an automation prepares each post ahead of time, by default a day before it is due, so you can open the calendar, see what is coming and swap a hook or a slide before it goes out. If a publish fails on TikTok's side, SlideBase retries a few times and then tells you, instead of silently skipping a day. Instagram works a little differently: connect a Business or Creator account and you can publish or schedule any post individually, with the 9:16 slides re-typeset to 4:5 for the feed. Daily automations are TikTok only for now. The Instagram carousel generator page covers that side.
Compare
Scheduler vs generator vs both
There are three ways to get a slideshow onto TikTok at 9:00 every morning. You can use TikTok's own tools, a generic social media scheduler, or a tool that generates and publishes in one place. They are not the same product, and the price difference mostly reflects who is doing the writing.
| TikTok Studio | Buffer / Later / Postiz | SlideBase | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Schedules photo posts | Video-first, desktop upload | Varies by tool and plan | ✓ |
| Writes the post for you | — | Caption helpers at most | ✓ |
| Knows your app | — | — | Reads your store listing |
| Daily fresh content | — | Only what you upload | New hook and slides every day |
| Price starts | Free | Free tier to about $29/mo | $29/mo, 200 credits |
Generic schedulers are good tools if you already have a designer and a writer. Postiz, for example, can post TikTok slideshows, and its own blog describes a developer wiring up AI agents to feed it. That works, but it is a weekend project with a prompt to maintain. SlideBase is the no-code version of that setup, built only for apps: paste the link, pick the time, done. If you are weighing TikTok against the alternatives for your app, TikTok marketing for apps goes through the whole strategy.
Cadence
Posting cadence that works for apps
Apps like Cal AI, Umax and RIZZ grew with high-volume TikTok content, much of it faceless photo posts across several accounts. You do not need their volume to start, but you do need the same habit: a post every day, on the same account, for long enough to learn what your audience swipes on. Here is the cadence that is realistic for one developer with a day job.
- Week 1 to 2: one post a day, draft mode. Say you built a habit tracker. Set the automation to one post every morning, English, Editorial style, with your top two audiences. Each post lands in your TikTok inbox; you add a trending sound and publish. You are checking that the hooks sound like you and that nothing in the copy is wrong.
- Week 3 to 6: one or two posts a day, direct mode. Once you trust the output, switch to direct publishing and add a second time slot, for example 8:00 and 19:00 in your audience's timezone. Use the banned-topics field to steer away from angles that flopped and the owner notes to feed in what worked.
- After that: scale on evidence, not hope. If one audience angle consistently outperforms, make a second automation for it, or a second account for a different language. Pro allows five automations, which is usually plenty for one app with a couple of audiences. Keep the hooks moving; TikTok hooks for apps explains why the first slide decides almost everything.
Two practical notes. First, spread your posting times rather than stacking posts at the same minute; the spread option does that for you inside a window. Second, do not pause for a week because one post did badly. Slideshow accounts tend to grow in steps, with a handful of posts carrying most of the views, and you only find those by publishing the others. A longer version of this plan, including what to put on each slide, is in the TikTok slideshow strategy for apps.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- Can you schedule TikTok slideshows?
- Yes. TikTok's own scheduler in TikTok Studio is built around video uploads, but photo posts can be published through TikTok's Content Posting API, and that is what SlideBase uses. You pick a date and time, or a daily posting time, and the slideshow is published to your account or sent to your TikTok drafts inbox.
- Does scheduling hurt reach?
- There is no public evidence that posts published through TikTok's official API are ranked differently from posts uploaded in the app. What does hurt reach is inconsistency and weak first slides. Scheduling fixes the first problem; a hook written for your audience fixes the second. If you still want to be careful, use draft mode: the slideshow lands in your TikTok inbox and you tap publish yourself.
- Do you need my password?
- No. You connect TikTok and Instagram through their official APIs with OAuth, from your own account. SlideBase never sees your password, and you can revoke access in the TikTok or Instagram app at any time.
- Can it post to drafts?
- Yes. Every TikTok automation has a publish mode: direct, which publishes at the scheduled time, or draft, which sends the finished slideshow to your TikTok drafts inbox so you can add a sound, check it and post from your phone. Many developers start in draft mode and switch to direct once they trust the output.
- Can I schedule Instagram carousels too?
- Yes, one at a time. Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account, open any post and pick a date and time. Daily automations are TikTok only for now; Instagram carousels are published or scheduled individually.
- How many posts a day can it schedule?
- An automation can post several times a day on the weekdays you choose, either spread across a time window or at up to six fixed times. The number of automations depends on your plan: one on Starter, five on Pro and unlimited on Ultra.
- What does it cost?
- Plans start at $29 a month for 200 credits. Credits are spent per generated slide, so a 6-slide post is about 6 credits, and unused credits roll over. Monthly plans come with a 3-day trial, card required, and you can cancel any time.
